Support Young Women's Breast Cancer Awareness
Senate Bill 994
Senate Bill 994, also known as "EARLY Act," or "Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Requires Young Learning Act of 2009" was formed in order to amend the Public Health Service Act. The bill proposes an increase in public awareness of breast cancer to young women of all racial, ethnic, and cultural groups. The theory behind the bill is that an increased awareness of risk factors of breast cancer and early diagnostic measures will help to decrease breast cancer complications or mortality in young women.
