Breast Cancer and Awareness is an important topic that should be addressed early in the young population. Women as young as 30 years old are diagnosed with breast cancer especially if they have a family history of breast cancer. By educating women about the risks and prevention of breast cancer early will aid in decreasing the mortality rate. Teaching young women about monthly breast examination and mammograms will aid in early detection of breast cancer and early treatment. This bill will be a great asset to the community and promote the importance of early education to prevent complications.

Thanks for your comment "Home Health Improvement Blog Group" - believe it or not, we just read a story from a pamphlet (from Susan G. Komen for the cure) that said a women who was 21 years old when diagnosed with breast cancer. Can you believe it? That is our age. It is hard to conceive that someone so young could be diagnosed with breast cancer - but that is something we are all up against. This is why our bill is SO important. So here is the big question - do the women in your group practice BSE's every month? Or do you wait for your annual physical to have the doctor do it?
